My Story and Journey...
This is a story of how I grew my business that initially started out as a 'hobby'. I have faced and overcome many challenges along the way, such as cyclones damaging the vanilla, lack of workforce and lack of time while still working a fulltime job to keep money coming in to pay the bills.
I have taken the 'big leap' and gone full time with the business so I can take this passionate dream of mine to another level. We are a niche, boutique and organic vanilla farm based in Samoa (South Pacific Islands) that is focused on quality and not necessarily bulk quantity. We want our customers (you) to be a part of our vanilla journey too.
I am a proud, determined and strong indigenous Samoan woman, mother and grandmother and I hope you will enjoy following my journey just as much as I love taking it...Alofa atu, Shelley

Why 'The Beans Love Story'?
My vanilla journey has truly been a 'love story' with growing vanilla over the years. Vanilla is my passion and connection to Mother Earth. It brings out the 'nurturing mother' in me in how I care for this plant and what I can produce from the beans.
